A Little Bit About Joseph

Joseph is 5 years old, he loves being around his friends and family, animals of every description, especially dogs, and anything that moves fast; planes, trains, speedboats and last but not least cars. “Happiness should be his middle name” His favourite things/people are: Mario Kart (and most other video games), his model cars, sports cars & Michael Schumacher.

Joseph has always shown a fascination in motoring: since he could make his first noises he’s been passionate about cars and driving, he could reel off the make and model of his toy cars before he could even count.

Joseph sat in a kart for the first time in Autumn 2009, aged 4 ½. After his induction at the local track he started driving a 4 stroke Honda CRG Bambino kart.

He quickly learned to handle the kart and soon we were all spending every Sunday at the track.

In winter 2009 Joseph moved into a Zip Bambino kart with a Comer 50 2 stroke engine.

He took part in the first Bambino time trials at the track in November and although he came 3rd on his very first attempt he wanted to practice more and more to beat the “bigger boys” times.

We (Mammy, Daddy, Joseph, little brother Harry and Honey, our dog) began travelling in Spring 2010 with an organised Bambino club to events around the country as Joseph wanted more of a challenge than the small circuit he was very used to.

Joseph takes part in Bambino track days organised or joins the pre race day practice sessions at Fulbeck, Rowrah, ELK and Hooton Park, Blackpool, Stretton.

He has recently driven his Cadet kart at Warden Law for the first time and loved it.
